Railfanning Massena Yard

Today I stopped in Massena yard. No trains were coming through, but the Massena local was idling near the CSX office. There were some CSX MOW trucks at the office. The yard had more cars than Buff Point ever has. I’ll be off to Detroit tomorrow, so look for more railfanning soon! -Harrison

Railfanning the D11

Last Thursday I railfanned the D11. It was so windy my tripod almost blew over. CP GP20C-ECO #2285 pulled a covered hopper towards New York Ave. Next, they opened up the derail and shoved the car into the siding. I am going on a trip soon, so look for “Trackside Blogs” coming out. -Harrison

Recent Railfanning

A couple weeks ago we stopped by the Plattsburgh station to catch the southbound Adirondack. The northbound on the bike path.
